![]() In addition to making Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, among others, free for all PS Plus subscribers last month, Sony added a smorgasbord of Ubisoft titles and more to the Extra and Premium / Deluxe tiers a few weeks back. Sony has been on a tear after rolling out the revamped PS Plus to all territories. It's a shame that we never got a chance to see Vicarious Visions' plans for Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. But, despite the changes, Like a Dragon is still very much like the Yakuza games with its massive open world and engrossing episodic story.Īs for select territories, Unrailed! is an underrated co-op game where the basic premise is to upgrade trains and make sure it doesn't derail from the tracks. Instead of the usual street-brawling gameplay, Yakuza: Like a Dragon uses RPG-like turn-based combat. Meanwhile, Yakuza Like a Dragon is a spin-off from the main Yakuza games. Chronologically, it is a sequel as Little Nightmares 2 tells events that happened before the first game. The former is a puzzle-platformer adventure game by Tarsier Studios that had a follow-up last year. If nothing else, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 should give skateboard fans something to keep themselves busy while waiting for EA's Skate reboot.Īs for the other two games, Little Nightmares and Yakuza Like a Dragon are fan favorites as well. What's curious about the freebie is that it comes just shortly after we found out that Blizzard canceled another Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake by Vicarious to put Vicarious to work on Diablo II: Resurrected. It was the studio's last project before the studio was merged into Blizzard Entertainment and became known as Blizzard Albany. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is the critically acclaimed remake of the first two Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games by Vicarious Visions. What's also interesting is that PS Plus subscribers in Asia are getting at least one more free game: Unrailed! The first Little Nightmares game might be considered an inferior product, but it warrants a play through especially if you want to understand more about the second game. Here are the PS Plus Essential games for August: Just hours after the August lineup for the Essential tier leaked online, Sony confirmed all the games that will be available for all PS Plus subscribers starting on August 2.
